"Zara!" hollered a loud voice that brought a shiver to Zara's spine.
"Zara! Where are you?" called the voice once again.
With her friend approaching close, Zara jumped out of a shaggy bush scaring her already frightened friend that was searching for her in the jungle near their stone house. Then all of a sudden...
"BOO!" yelled Zara in a terrifying voice.
"ZARA!! Why did you do that! My heart almost fell to the pit of my stomach!" exclaimed Laquita as she fell backwards and hit a tree behind her.
"Muahahahaha!" laughed Zara in a quite terrifying tone.
"Zara, this isn't funny." said Laquita in an annoyed manner.
With an evil twinkle in her eye, Zara starts approaching Laquita like a hungry hyena looking for its next meal.
"Zara you have to take this seriously. Stop. Now." said Laquita as she slowly stood up supporting herself on the tree that she had fallen on.
But no. Zara wanted to play.
"Zara don't be a loser!" screamed Laquita with confidence in her voice.
Then, the whole jungle went silent. Only the sweet chirps of the birds echoed throughout the jungle. Slowly, Zara began to stand up on two feet with an angry frown on her face that was directed at Laquita.
"Rocks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!" Zara roared at Laquita.
But then, as angry as she was, Laquita turned around, went behind the tree and pulled out a ginormous dictionary that was made of stone. With no time to waste, Laquita chucked it at Zara's head. Zara tumbled to the ground and fell unconscious.
"You really thought that words couldn't hurt you?" questioned Laquita in an unmannered tone.
"Loser." she said.
And with that Laquita had left and went home to enjoy her dinner.

Blory #2: The Story of Survival and Life

The morning air is filled with the sweet melodies of a pair of love birds that fly happily across the bright sun filled sky. They danced in the flower garden and sweetly sing to one another. Until they both glided through the air up to their home tree and snuggled up on a tree branch. Then mother bird glances at her nest and then back at father bird and gives him a knowing look. In their nest there is a single blue egg the size of a small walnut. She hopped to her nest and jumped upon the edge and then on top of her new egg putting effortless weight on it to keep it warm. She needs to keep her egg warm so that her baby grows in a warm climate. She slowly turns her head and faces father bird as he approaches mother bird to accompany her in their nest. They snuggle up in their warm nest and mother bird takes a rest. Father bird is always alert and awake so that mother bird doesn't have to do two things at once.

Later that night both birds are very tired and both go to sleep to rest for the next day. But there are always dangerous predators lurking around at night in the forest. Slowly and steadily, in the still of the night with the moon as the only light reflected source a fierce wild cat approaches their tree. without a sound it climbs the tree with it's sharp claws and carefully walks towards father bird and mother bird's nest.

Father bird is awaken by the ere scrape of the cat's claws on the tree. He alerts mother bird with a sharp peck on her back. She is woken up immediately and defends her egg. Meanwhile father bird had flown away to put up a fight with the wild cat that is quite hungry for a meal.

The angry wild cat growled at father bird and strikingly began to attack him. Father bird with his powerful beak and sharp claws also began to fight for dear life. There was feathers flying everywhere and father bird was loosing energy to fight. But he finally put all the energy he had left and managed to poke the wild cat in the eye with his sharp beak. At last, the cat roared in agony and scampered away as fast as possible. But father bird who was laying at the trunk of their home tree, had not seemed to be moving. Mother bird swooped down as fast as she could to father bird and wanted to help him. But she has noticed that his wing was damaged and that he was in a lot of pain. So she caringly decided to sleep next to father bird for the fallowing few hours left of the night.

In the morning mother had woken up to a start, she had just remembered that she had left her egg in their nest up in the tree. She was devastated and flew up to reunite with her egg. When she had sat on her egg she had realized that the egg had gotten really cold. She was shocked, she was scared for both her egg and father bird. What will she do? All of a sudden she had an idea. She thought that she could rebuild a new nest on the ground because it is much to heavy to carry their real nest down. That way she would be close to her egg and also close to father bird. A week later father bird had recovered because of of mother bird's caring instincts.

Many days had passed and mother bird knew that it was getting close to the day that she would have to see her egg hatch into a baby chick. Well that day was today. She had been woken up by little chirping noises that the egg was making. She jumped of the egg and called father bird to come and see. Suddenly there was a loud cracking noise which caught mother bird's attention again. Before her eyes, out of the blue egg came a baby bird. Mother bird was so joyous to see her baby bird. That's just when father bird flew in and saw that his baby bird had come out of its shell. They both snuggled up with their baby bird and mother bird began to feed him. These two magnificent love birds have something more to share with the world and themselves today.
